Room Information

「Matsu Room」MATSUNOMA

This room is available for medium - large sized banquet plans for a maximum of 100 guests. *Tatami mats and chair seats are also available.

In 2012, Kiyokawa had a fire and almost all of the 2nd floor burned out. However, only MATSUNOMA, one of the banquet rooms survived.
In November 2012, this room was renovated keeping the same good old atmosphere that has been handed down for more than 80 years, by using the same Ranma (transom window), round window, alcove, and alcove post (zelkova tree). This tranquil and elegant MATSUNOMA with a modern Japanese style can hold a maximum of 100 guests.
This room is suited for various banquets including year-end parties and new year parties, and Buddhist memorial services, etc.

「Keyaki Room」KEYAKINOMA

This room is available for small - medium sized banquet plans for a maximum of 30 guests. *Tatami mats and chair seats are also available.

For this special room, we use the same green color for all the tatami mats, and only high-grade straight-grained wood. And for an alcove and Tsuke-shoin (the exterior corner of the alcove, we reuse the same zelkova wood that was used when Kiyokawa was founded 100 years ago. That is why this room is named as KEYAKINOMA,room of zelkova tree.
This tranquil room, that has had the same good atmosphere since Kiyokawa was founded, is suited for special occasions such as an anniversary. Meal service in this room is also offered. Reservation is possible for 2 or more people.

「Hikari Room」HIKARINOMA

This room is available for small - medium sized banquet plans for a maximum of 40 guests. *Tatami mats and chair seats are also available.

Features of this room are Funazoko-tenjyo ( a wooden ceiling shaped like the bottom of a boat with a high center), lots of windows, and a flat alcove called “Horadoko”. A warm daylight colored light is used for this room, as a result of pursuing high-quality lighting. In the daytime, this room is full of sunlight, and a warm and relaxing light that heals you at night.
We highly recommend this HIKARINOMA, room of light regardless of the daytime or night.
